Openstack OVN metadata agent unreachable on random compute nodes
Issue
- On Compute Nodes it is not possible to inject an ssh key through the metadata service when launching a virtual machine
- When this happens the VM hostname is also not configured - in most cases the hostname will be set to
localhost
Environment
- Red Hat Openstack Platform (RHOSP) 16.1
- OVN version ovn2.13-20.2.0-104.el8fdp.x86_64 in ovn-controller and ovn-northd container
