The script 99-raid-check doesn't check arrays with active I/O in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.7

Issue

On a system with RAID arrays set up using Software RAID, while the cron 99-raid-check runs, it does not check the arrays with active I/O in it. It only checks arrays with state clean.
