How to regularly backup the RHEV database

  • I would like to backup my Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager (RHEV-M) database for off-site storage. Is there an easy way to do this?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV) 3.0, 3.1, 3.2

NOTE: To backup RHEV 3.3 and beyond, use the engine-backup utility instead.
