Platform operators in OpenShift cluster are restarting frequently due to misconfigured sysdig utility

Issue

  • Operators are facing random restarts.
  • RHOCP webconsole is getting disconnected randomly.
  • oc scale command is unable to scale up/down application:
W0713 10:12:58.002608     452 warnings.go:67] extensions/v1beta1 Scale is deprecated in v1.2+, unavailable in v1.18+
Error from server (InternalError): Internal error occurred: converting (apps.DeploymentConfig) to (v1beta1.Scale): unknown conversion
  • Openshift-apiserver and kube-apiserver are flooded with below errors:
