OpenShift 4 and GPU requirements in Google Cloud Platform ( GCP )

Issue

  • OpenShift 4 documentation do not provide any requirement details and limitations for using GPU supported instances in GCP.

  • Installing NFD and NVIDIA Operators as described in NVIDIA documentation does not enable GPU for the supported instances

  • OpenShift 4 machinesets will not spin up GPU enabled instances and autoscaling of GPU specific instances will not work.
