Issue

  • Access Denied to samba shared file from a Windows command prompt.
  • Same share can be accessed locally using smbclientand in file explorer, but gives below error while connecting using command prompt.

    C:\Windows\system32>CMD /C START W:\example\test.pdf
    Access is denied.
