Can RHACS, Red Hat Quay and other Operators be installed on the same OCP Cluster as the Operator for RHACM for Kubernetes?

Environment

  • Red Hat Advanced Cluster Manager (RHACM) 2.4, 2.5
  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP) 4.8, 4.9, 4.10

Issue

  • Can Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security (RHACS), Red Hat Quay and other Operators be installed on the same RHOCP Cluster as the Operator for Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes?

Resolution

Both RHACM, Red Hat Quay and RHACS can be installed together on the same OpenShift Cluster.

Note: From RHACM point of view we don't see any restrictions installing also other software or other operators but please take in account that it might affect the sizing.

Note: As Hive is part of RHACM we don't recommend to use the Community-Version. Community Hive has no support from Red Hat and should be uninstalled before installing RHACM.
