Can we install RHACS, Quay and other Operators on the same OCP Cluster as the Operator for Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes?

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Environment

  • Red Hat Advanced Cluster Manager (RHACM) 2.3, 2.4
  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) 4.8, 4.9

Issue

  • Can we install Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security (RHACS), Red Hat Quay and other Operators on the same OCP Cluster as the Operator for Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes?

Resolution

Both RHACM, Quay and RHACS can be installed together on the same OpenShift Cluster.

Please consult our Documentation regarding installation:

Please see our policies to install RHACS from RHACM.

Note: From RHACM point of view we don't see any restrictions installing also other software or other operators but please take in account that it might affect the sizing.

Note: As Hive is part of RHACM we don't recommend to use the Community-Version. Community Hive has no support from Red Hat and should be uninstalled before installing RHACM.
