Is there a function in JBEDS similar to DECODESTRING that will return a DYNAMIC value instead of a LITERAL?

I am in need of translating some values in a View Model, I am aware of the DECODESTRING function that decodes a desired column value into a LITERAL string of value pairs.

What I need is instead of translating to a literal string, I need to populate the with a DYNAMIC value (another column value in the same view).
- Is there a function for this?
