WiFi AP does not prompt for encryption key when configured with WPA3-Personal security with GNOME and GNOME-Control-Center.

Issue

  • When connecting to Wifi AP configured with WPA3 personal from GNOME, pop-up to enter encryption key does not appear instead below error window appears.

    Authentication required by wireless network
    
    Password or encryption keys are required to access the wireless network "WiFi AP name".
