Print queue is enabled but not processing print jobs in RHEL 7 and 8
Issue
Print jobs in a print queue aren't being processed, but the queue is enabled and there are no errors. The output of lpstat -p lpq1 shows the following:
printer lpq1 now printing lpq1-0. enabled since Sun May 16 20:32:58 2021
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 and 8
- Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) 1.6.3 and 2.2.6
