Satellite repository Sync Incomplete and displays [Errno 95] Operation not supported (Katello::Errors::PulpError)

Issue

  • Satellite instance produced an error following every repository sync, after which the sync operation finished with Sync Incomplete, even though all RPMs were downloaded.

    [Errno 95] Operation not supported (Katello::Errors::PulpError)
    • This issue also happened when synchronizing a custom local repository which is located on the Satellite server itself.

    • The Satellite server had an NFS filesystem named /satellitenfs which was used by /var/lib/pulp using symlinks.
