How to add an application shortcut to the top bar In GNOME 3?
Issue
- We have a software department who is migrating their applications from RHEL 6 to RHEL 7.9. They require custom (in-house) applications to be added to the GNOME panel (top-bar). Right-clicking on the panel no longer allows end-users to "Add to Panel", which is a change from RHEL 6. Could you please provide the steps for end-users to be able to add their in-house applications to the panel?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
- GNOME 3
