Issue

  • When trying to access the Red Hat Satellite WebUI, the below error is observed:

    FATAL:  "base/16387" is not a valid data directory
    DETAIL:  File "base/16387/PG_VERSION" is missing.
    (PG::ConnectionBad)
    /opt/theforeman/tfm/root/usr/share/gems/gems/pg-0.21.0/lib/pg.rb:55:in `initialize'
    /opt/theforeman/tfm/root/usr/share/gems/gems/pg-0.21.0/lib/pg.rb:55:in `new'
    /opt/theforeman/tfm/root/usr/share/gems/gems/pg-0.21.0/lib/pg.rb:55:in `connect'
    

    Note: In this example, the directory reported as missing is 16387/. This could vary.
