Can I rename the Ansible Tower users and groups?

  • I want to rename the Ansible Tower users and groups, such as awx, redis, and nginx. Is this possible?

Resolution

  • Renaming the Ansible Tower users/groups is unsupported and can lead to Tower degradation. As such, you should not rename these users/groups. This is not recommended.
