"Package does not match intended download" error on Satellite client system following a Satellite sync after RHEL5.7 GA
Issue
- I get "Package does not match intended download" errors when trying to update a RHEL5 system that is registered with RHN Satellite:
Error Downloading Packages:
nscd-2.5-65.x86\_64: failed to retrieve getPackage/nscd-2.5-65.x86\_64.rpm from rhel-x86_64-server-5 error was [Errno -1] Package does not match intended download
glibc-2.5-65.i686: failed to retrieve getPackage/glibc-2.5-65.i686.rpm from rhel-x86_64-server-5 error was [Errno -1] Package does not match intended download
Environment
- Red Hat Network (RHN) Satellite
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (RHEL 5) system registered with Satellite
- Red Hat Network Satellite synchronisation performed within days after the release of RHEL5.7
