Ceph - A Ceph Podman container service fails to start with error stating 'You have to remove that container to be able to reuse that name.: that name is already in use'
Issue
- When attempting to restart a failed containerized Ceph service managed by podman we see the following error:
Mar 30 13:25:12 ceph1 podman[274075]: Error: error creating container storage: the container name "ceph-rgw-ceph1-rgw0" is already in use by "1f52fd151ba314618e91113d485617b65eb8d80717574ffd547b59efee289ea1". You have to remove that container to be able to reuse that name.: that name is already in use
