CodeReady Workspaces user cannot make a new Project/NameSpace

Red Hat CodeReady Workspaces

Issue

CodeReady Workspaces users find they cannot make a workspace. It seems likely because they cannot create a new Project.

Resolution

There are multiple possible remedies, listed here in order of preference:

1) Determine if the restriction can be lifted.
If a user can't make a new Project, it seems very possible that they have had restrictions placed on them as described in this knowledge base article.
The best remedy in this case (as far as CodeReady Workspaces usage goes) is to seek reversal of the restrictions for CRW users. If permissible, this would permit the greatest flexibility.

2) Choose a Namespace strategy that avoids the problem. CRW can be configured so the creation of a workspace does not require a new Project, as described here.
This would allow the user to make immediate use of CRW, but it comes at the cost of a mandated strategy. There may be unintended side-effects, i.e. data privacy could be affected.
