Package and Errata actions on content hosts selected using the "Select all hosts" option fails on Red Hat Satellite 6

Package and Errata actions on content hosts selected using the select all hosts option on the content host page fails with the following error:
Oops, we're sorry but something went wrong No hosts have been specified.
- Navigate to
WebUI > Hosts > Content Hosts
. - Click on the check box at the top of the table to select all the hosts displayed on the current page.
- Now, click on the
Select all X
text to select all the content hosts across all the pages. (X is the number of content hosts registered with your Red Hat Satellite.) - Click on
Select Actions
and then selectManage Packages
. - Try to perform any of the actions like
Install
,Update
,Remove
orUpdate All Packages
through remote execution and it will fail with the errorOops, we're sorry but something went wrong No hosts have been specified.
- The same issue is observed while applying errata: Follow steps 1 to 3 and then click on
Select Actions
and then selectManage Errata
. - Then select any errata(s) and try to apply the same using remote execution and it will fail with the error

On Satellite 6.10 , below steps yield the same error:
content -> errata -> select an errata -> apply errata -> click in the checkbox left of "name" to select the first page of hosts ->
then "select all" to select all hosts -> next
