Satellite webui returns "500 Internal Server Error", when trying to clone a channel due to a perl error

Issue

  • When trying to clone a channel using the Satellite webui, right after clicking the "Clone Channel" button from "Manage Software Channels" screen, the message "500 Internal Server Error" is returned.

  • Error 500 while cloning channels with in the /var/log/httpd/ssl_error_logs mention of perl :

 /var/www/html/network/.htaccess: Errno architecture (x86\_64-linux-thread-multi-2.6.18-194.26.1.el5) does not match executable architecture (x86\_64-linux-thread-multi-2.6.18-194.8.1.el5) at /usr/lib64/perl5/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/Errno.pm line 11.
  • Note: the same error is returned when trying to clone errata.
