Why are many TCP connections stuck in CLOSE_WAIT state on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5?
Issue
- We have a problem with WebLogic where many TCP connections are stuck in a status of CLOSE_WAIT. What tunings do I need to apply to resolve this?
- sshd connection still remains in CLOSE_WAIT state after logging out.
- Other custom application also remains in same state.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- Weblogic
