Unable to use 'repo' directive in kickstart

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • I am trying to use the 'repo' directive in the kickstart config file to install errata at the time of OS installation, keep getting an error message.
  • The message I get is "You have specified that the package 'repo --name=sample --baseurl=file:///tmp/repos/sample/' should be installed. This package does not exist. Would you like to continue or abort this installation?"

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.1
