[RHEL] - virt-manager auto-add cluster nodes

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • virt-manager is great when it comes to adding in the different cluster nodes to it and seeing where everything is.  It's also great to be able to double-click the entries and pull up a VNC connection to it. All that said, If you reload a cluster node and load up virt-manager for the first time, i need to re-add all of the cluster nodes again to it. Not a big deal, but just involves more documentation on our end.
  • My question: Is there a simple file I can drop in place so the first time virt-manager is loaded up, it already has a connection to all of my cluster nodes?  Especially since once I add the node to it, it always remembers that I did this...  I'm guessing there is just some simple config file it's referencing/maintaining?

Environment

  • RHEL 5, 6
  • KVM
  • Cluster
