Enable/disable repositories on a group of hosts from the satellite GUI

Environment

  • Red Hat satellite 6.

Issue

  • Enable one repository or more on a group of hosts from the satellite GUI.
  • Disable one repository or more on a group of hosts from the satellite GUI.

Resolution

1) On the satellite GUI , navigate to the following location :

Hosts -> Content Hosts -> [Select hosts]

2) On the top right :

[Select Action] -> Manage Repository Sets -> [Select the needed repositories] -> [Select Action]

3) Choose the needed action from the drop down list:
- Override to Enabled.
- Override to Disabled.
- Reset to Default
