Solution Unverified - Updated -

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux for ARM 64

Issue

  • Does Red Hat sell a subscription for Red Hat Enterprise Linux on Arm (aarch64)?
  • How /where should we buy the subscription?

Resolution

  • Customers may purchase Red Hat Enterprise Linux for ARM 64 subscriptions from Red Hat, hardware vendors, resellers, or cloud vendors.

Root Cause

When Red Hat initially enabled support for the Arm AArch64 architecture, software subscriptions were only sold by select OEM hardware partners who provided the hardware on which the software would run. They also provided initial L1-L2 technical support for any issues the customer might encounter. The knowledge we gained via these partnerships has allowed us to move Red Hat Enterprise Linux for ARM 64 to use the same sales and support models that are available for other architectures. Customers can now purchase Red Hat Enterprise Linux for ARM 64 from Red Hat, hardware partners, resellers, and cloud providers. Red Hat also now provides L1-L3 support via these subscriptions.

Please contact a Red Hat, hardware vendor, reseller, or cloud vendor sales person of your choice for further information about purchasing.
