Resolution

  • To search a specific ERRATA use the below "errata_id" filter in the Reporting Templates.

    Errata filter "errata_id = RHSA-XXXX:YYYY"

  • To search multiple ERRATA use the below "errata_id" with "OR" filter in the Reporting Templates.

    Errata filter "errata_id = RHSA-XXXX:YYYY or errata_id = RHBA-XXXX:YYYY or errata_id = RHSA-XXXX:YYYY"

    Note: Replace the RHSA-XXXX:YYYY with the required ERRATA ID.

  • To search a specific type of Errata use the below "Type" filter in the Reporting Templates.

    Errata filter "type = XXXX"

    Note: Replace the XXXX with the required Type e.g. security, bugfix, or enhancement.

Root Cause

  • By default, reporting templates list all the applicable or applied ERRATA details.

    Satellite GUI -> Monitor -> Report Template -> Host Applicable Errata -> Generate

Diagnostic Steps

  • To search a specific ERRATA use the below filter in the Reporting Templates.

    Errata filter "errata_id = RHSA-2021:0339"

  • To search a multiple ERRATA use the below filter in the Reporting Templates.

    Errata filter "errata_id = RHSA-2021:0339 or errata_id = RHBA-2021:0340 or errata_id = RHSA-2021:0221"
