Enabling new repositories shows No repositories available while using HTTP proxy in Red Hat Satellite 6

Existing repositories can be synced but when trying to enable any new repository from the
Content -> Red Hat Repositoriespage, It says No repositories available. -
Manifest Refresh functionality works fine.

The Test Connection feature for the HTTP Proxy created in Satellite UI, works fine without showing any connectivity issues.
