Fencing with fence_apc does not hard reboot the cluster node

Issue

  • A cluster node is fenced, and the cluster node does not startup afterwards.
  • Manual fencing of the cluster node via the APCs interface works as expected.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5 (with the High Availability Add on)
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6 (with the High Availability Add on)
