RHV : VM failed to start on AMD CPU with "Host CPU does not provide required features: monitor" error
Issue
With the following setup
- RHV/KVM AMD host based on RHEL8
- L1 VM based on RHEL-7
Starting a L2 VM inside the L1 RHEL-7 VM fails with following error
libvirtError: the CPU is incompatible with host CPU: Host CPU does not provide required features: monitor
Environment
- Red Hat Virtualization 4.4
- KVM
