Why are we unable to run Xephyr to be resulting segmentation fault?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.5
  • xorg-x11-server-Xephyr-1.1.1-48.76.el5

Issue

  • Running Xephyr at the command line using the following:
1. Boot rhel5 system in runlevel 5
2. Xephyr -ac :1 &
  • Found following error messages :
Extended Input Devices not yet supported. Impelement it at line 625 in kinput.c  
Segmentation fault  Xephyr -ac :1
