How to have RHN proxy clients retrieve the Satellite's bootstrap-<custom-name>.sh files?

Proxy clients cannot retrieve the Satellite's bootstrap files when running wget:
wget http://proxy.example.com/pub/bootstrap-<custom-name>.sh
