Apache Plugin isn't updated on JON upgrade
Issue
- We just upgraded our JON server from version 2.3.1 to version 2.4.1
-
The rhq-apache-plugin jar doesn't seem to have been upgraded to version 3.0.1, the rhq-server-log4j.log shows:
2011-06-02 18:21:32,191 INFO [org.rhq.enterprise.server.core.plugin.AgentPluginScanner] Filesystem has a plugin [Apache] at the file [/jon-server-2.4.1.GA/jbossas/server/default/deploy/rhq.ear/rhq-downloads/rhq-plugins/rhq-apache-plugin-3.0.1.GA.jar] which is different than where the DB thinks it should be [/jon-server-2.4.1.GA/jbossas/server/default/deploy/rhq.ear/rhq-downloads/rhq-plugins/rhq-apache-plugin-1.3.1.GA.jar] 2011-06-02 18:21:32,191 INFO [org.rhq.enterprise.server.core.plugin.AgentPluginScanner] It appears the agent plugin [AgentPlugin [id=0, name=Apache, md5=b614d8bfd48554882ed697125b951e33]] in the database may be obsolete. If so, it will be updated soon by the version on the filesystem [/jon-server-2.4.1.GA/jbossas/server/default/deploy/rhq.ear/rhq-downloads/rhq-plugins/rhq-apache-plugin-3.0.1.GA.jar]. -
But then it never upgrades and the following errors are displayed in the agent.log:
2011-06-02 20:20:11,266 ERROR [RHQ Server Polling Thread] (org.rhq.enterprise.agent.PluginUpdate)- {PluginUpdate.download-failure}Failed to download the plugin [Apache]. Environment
