RHEL-6.1 does not boot on a IBM x330 and hangs after "Probing EDD (edd=off to disable)... ok"
Issue
- After upgrading an IBM xSeriea x330 from RHEL 6.0 to RHEL 6.1, the system is unable to boot. The server stops after the following line:
Probing EDD (edd=off to disable)... ok
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.1
- IBM xSeries 330
kernel-2.6.32-131.0.15.el6
