Using Forgot password option for invalid username or unregistered email id displays email send message in RH-SSO

Issue

  • While using Forgot password option in RH-SSO even if the username or email id doesn't exist in RH-SSO database the message displayed is email send but it should display user doesn't exist or invalid email id

  • On Forgot Password screen in RH-SSO if we enter invalid username or email it redirects back to login page with message "You should receive an email shortly with further instructions." instead it does not validate if user is present in local database or external provider and display user doesn't exist or invalid email id or update your email id.
