Why does the system registration during installation of RHEL 8.x fails with the error 'You must specify an organization for new units'?

Issue

  • During the installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.x the Connect to Red Hat section fails. After entering the username and password and selecting System Purpose when you click on Register it fails with error 'You must specify an organization for new units.'
