Nodes marked NotReady because the hostname is not set in Red Hat OpenShift 4
Issue
- Why are OpenShift nodes showing localhost as the hostname.
- OpenShift nodes reboot with a failed node-valid-hostname.service systemd service.
- OCP nodes marked NotReady due to invalid hostname.
