Is it possible to limit the number of persistent volumes mounted per node?

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

  • Depending on the technology in use the limit in number of persistent volumes that can be mounted on a single node may be reached earlier or later.
  • With such a scenario no new pod requiring the same type of persistent volume should be scheduled on a node where the limit has been reached

Environment

  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) 4.x
