Instance communication problems with Mellanox drivers and Geneve tunnels ( RHOSP 16.1)
Issue
- After upgrading to OSP16 instances are not able the communicate or reach other networks, mlx5 driver is used
- New OSP16 installation is experiencing connectivity issues, mlx5 driver is used
- There is alot of delay between the packet reaches the nic until it is seen in the switch (around 30 seconds), mlx5 driver is used
Environment
- Red Hat Openstack Platform 16.1
- Mellanox drivers (mlx5)
