rgmanger is reporting "Checking Existence Of File" in RHEL 5 or 6 when starting a cluster resource

Issue

Getting below message when rgmanager start on one of the node, but the service is running on second node:

May 23 04:26:15 node1 clurgmgrd: [16851]:<err> Checking Existence Of File /var/run/cluster/mysql/mysql:mysql1.pid [mysql:mysql1] > Failed - File Doesn't Exist

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 or 6 with the High Availability Add On
  • One or more of the following resource types in /etc/cluster/cluster.conf:
    • <tomcat-6/>
    • <samba/>
    • <postres-8/>
    • <openldap/>
    • <named/>
    • <mysql/>
    • <apache/>
