Issue

  • auditd.service fails to start by OS reboot but can start after OS booted.
  • Could not open dir /var/log/audit (No such file or directory) cased auditd failed to start during OS boot.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
  • auditd
  • /var/log/audit is a symbolic link by execute ln -s /test /var/log/audit.
  • /test directory 's filesystem is different from /var/log/audit 's
