Troubleshooting pod evictions caused by DiskPressure in RHOCP 4

Issue

  • Build pods failing due to too less ephemeral storage.

  • Pods are evicted automatically after the following events are recorded:

    $ oc get ev -n default
55m         Warning   EvictionThresholdMet    node/worker0.example.com            Attempting to reclaim ephemeral-storage
55m         Normal    NodeHasDiskPressure     node/worker0.example.com            Node worker0.example.com status is now: NodeHasDiskPressure
