Japanese GUI elements not showing up in Java Swing applications on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
Issue
- Our product has a Java Swing GUI tool. The japanese characters are shown as boxes. However, the command line tools display japanese characters correctly. The same cpp GUI tool worked in earlier version of RHEL.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
- Oracle Java version 8u231 or earlier
