Error from server no endpoints available for service "maistra-admission-controller"

Issue

• The OpenShift Service Mesh Operator got automatically upgraded to version 2.0 causing Service Mesh pods failures.

• Issuing commands for getting ServiceMeshControlPlane resources like oc get smcp or oc delete smcp <smcp-name> fails with the following error:

  Error from server: conversion webhook for maistra.io/v1, Kind=ServiceMeshControlPlane failed: Post https://maistra-admission-controller.openshift-operators.svc:443/convert-smcp?timeout=30s: no endpoints available for service "maistra-admission-controller"
  

  NOTE: check also this other solution if you need to reinstall the operator using a previous 1.1.x version.
