Compatibility of JDK8 JMS Client with JDK11 Broker
Issue
- If we update to JDK11, does Red Hat support running a JDK8 JMS Client against a JDK11 Broker?
- We currently use a third-party JMS client which currently has a requirement for JDK8, but we plan to run the EAP JMS broker on JDK11. Is this supported?
Environment
- Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
- 7.2, 7.3
- Artemis Embedded Broker
- JMS Client JDK version different from Broker JDK version
