What is the correct hostname format for IPAM with CFME/EVM?

Issue

• We are using the pseudo IPAM system in CloudForms and a current project uses dashes in the hostname. I know the IPAM_Import code does a regex check (\w*) on the name to get only letters, numbers and underscore. I've added the "-" character in the regex expression so now the IPAM table is being imported. But my question is if there will be any downstream issues to having a dash in the name? Will it provision and de-provision properly?
