Jboss EAP 6.1 unable to see the System.out.println in console and server log

Issue

Earlier I was using JBOSS 4.0.5 server and was able to view the logs in console and server log file, but when we migrated to JBOSS EAP 6.1 I am unable to view the system.out.println output for debugging purpose.
Why the System.out.println message won't write in server.log file in EAP 6 ?
