After a 3scale upgrade it is not possible to search an object from the Admin Portal UI

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • After a Red Hat 3scale API Management upgrade the mapping rules search is not working anymore for any mapping rule that existed before the upgrade. Newly created mapping rules can be searched.
  • After a pod restart of the Sphinx pod the search doesn't return any results.
  • After upgrading from 2.13 to 2.14 the new system-searchd pod still suffers the same issue.

Environment

  • Red Hat 3scale API Management
    • 2.13 On-Premise or older
    • 2.13 to 2.14 On-Premise upgrade
