Getting error message "MTA: cannot bind: Address already in use" and postfix cannot start in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and 6
Issue
- postfix service cannot start.
- In RHEL5, the following error message was seen.
opendaemonsocket: daemon MTA: cannot bind: Address already in use: 11 Time(s)
opendaemonsocket: daemon MTA: server SMTP socket wedged: exiting: 1 Time(s)
