On RHEL 6, if a KVM host network changes, the Windows 7 KVM guest looses its IP address. Guest doesn't come back with IP.
Issue
- DNS resolution fails in Windows 7 KVM quest, when host network changes, host DNS is ok.
- Experiencing a network drop due to link-local address in KVM guest, host is still connected.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.4
- Microsoft Windows 7 KVM guest
