OCS 3.11 - Worker node waiting in iscsi login devices after reboot

Issue

  • iSCSI login failed due to authorization failure with the following message in /var/log/messages file
Sep 24 10:24:32 worker iscsiadm: iscsiadm: initiator reported error (24 - iSCSI login failed due to authorization failure)
Sep 24 10:24:32 worker iscsiadm: iscsiadm: Could not login to [iface: default, target: iqn.2016-12.org.gluster-block:xxxxx-xxxxx, portal: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx,3260].
Sep 24 10:24:32 worker iscsiadm: iscsiadm: initiator reported error (24 - iSCSI login failed due to authorization failure)

  • After worker node reboot, server took a lot of time to boot , during that time the login prompt was not available on the console, but this other message:
[***]   A start job is running for Login and scanning of iSCSI devices  (Xh Ymin Zs / no limit)

and access via ssh failed with this error:

System is booting up. See pam_nologin(8)
Authentication failed.
