Can a user defined port be assigned to a alert notification generated by the Alert:SNMP server plug-in?

Issue

  • Does SNMP settings only support port 162?
  • Is there a sample configuration you can provide to have a different port such as 1621?
  • If I leave the port settings as default the alerts are sent to port 161 instead of 162.
  • What port is used by default?
  • Can a different port be used?

  • Alert:SNMP server plug-in for JBoss ON
  • Resource alert definition which uses the SNMP Alert Notification
